Description

Each spring, in the weeks leading up to Passover, we read four special Torah portions that chart our journey toward liberation. But the haftarot paired with these readings reveal a darker undercurrent: fractured relationships, failed leadership, and the human price of sacred work.

In this series, we’ll explore the readings for three of these portions, exploring how the prophetic readings complicate the Torah portions to which they are attached.
