David and Batsheva: Sin and Consequence – The 2026 Judith & Stanley Rudoff Memorial Lecture
Day: Sunday
Date: September 6 - September 6, 2026
Time: 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm EDT
Description

This year’s Rudoff memorial shiur will explore the story of King David and Batsheva.

The story of David and Bathsheba is central to the Book of Samuel. It is also the focus of Psalm 51, the great penitential psalm (one recited by many congregations on Yom Kippur). Our speaker Rabbi David Silber will examine the sequence of events that led to the sin and reflect upon the consequences of sin and the path of repentance.

The form on this page will register you for the Zoom livestream.

To attend live in person in New York City at Kehilath Jeshurun (125 E. 85th St.), please register at this link.
