Rabbi Itiel Oron was born in Tel Aviv, attended Yeshivat Bnai Akiva Ra’anana (bagrut) and Yeshivat Har Etzion (1995-2005) where he received smicha. He also received a B.Ed. in Education and Jewish Philosophy from Herzog College. He was Director and Rosh Kollel, Torah Mitzion Kollel, New York, and Director of Beit Midrash, SAR High School, Riverdale, NY and scholar in residence at many US synagogues and campuses. He has been on the senior faculty of Yeshivat Eretz Hatzvi since 2010 and of Midreshet Lindenbaum since 2011. He is a certified medical clown and currently volunteers at Shaarei Zedek Medical Center. He is a member of the Tzohar rabbinical organization.
