Description

Yom Kippur is a dramatic day, but that drama is often compounded by additional circumstances. We will learn aggadot and halakhic literature about various Yom Kippurs throughout history, from biblical and rabbinic times, through observance of the fast during a cholera epidemic, and up to the Yom Kippur war.

Teacher

Channa Lockshin Bob is Director of Education and Head of Judaics at Edu-Together, and online school. She also is head of research and development at TALI, the center for pluralist Jewish education. Channa holds an MA in Talmud from Columbia University and a Scholars Circle Certificate from Drisha. Channa has spent many wonderful years learning and teaching at Drisha and is excited to be back!
