Rabbi Daniel Reifman is the Rosh Kollel of the Drisha Summer Kollel and has taught Talmud and halakha at Drisha for over 15 years. He holds a PhD in hermeneutics from Bar Ilan University and received his rabbinic ordination and an MA in Tanakh from Yeshiva University. During the year, he teaches at the Pardes Institute for Jewish Studies in Jerusalem and the Institute for Advanced Torah Studies at Bar-Ilan University.
Dr. Malka Simkovich is faculty member at Drisha. She is the Crown-Ryan Chair of Jewish Studies and director of the Catholic-Jewish Studies program at Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. She holds a PhD in Second Temple and Rabbinic Judaism from Brandeis University and a Masters degree in Hebrew Bible from Harvard University. She is the author of The Making of Jewish Universalism: From Exile to Alexandria and Discovering Second Temple Literature: The Scriptures and Stories That Shaped Early Judaism.
