Online Middle School Talmud Class For Girls

Day: Tuesdays

Date: October 5 - December 7, 2021

Time: 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Cost: $250.00

What happens if you agree to watch your friend’s stuff – and it gets lost or stolen? We will explore this very old question in the Torah, the Mishnah, and the Gemara.

Join veteran educator and Drisha alumna, Mrs. Deborah Klapper, in a ten-week Talmud class just for middle school girls. Students will learn the basic skills of Talmud study through the third perek of Bava Metzia, including vocabulary, argumentation, and chevruta study.

Open to students in grades 6-8.

Classes will take place over Zoom and pre-registration is required. Scholarships are available upon request.

Mrs. Deborah Klapper

Deborah Klapper is an alumna of the Drisha High School Program ('89 and '90) and the Drisha Scholars' Circle ('99), as well as Harvard College ('95). She is a full time Torah and Hebrew tutor living in Sharon, MA.
