The Drisha Beit Midrash program affords qualified women the opportunity to engage in life-transforming, full time Jewish learning. Whether taking a year off to learn Torah lishma (for the sake of learning) or testing out a potential career path, the study of Talmud, halakhah and Tanakh through the Beit Midrash program will prove to be a rewarding experience. Classes have a strong emphasis on havruta (partner) learning.
Prerequisites for admission include prior experience studying Chumash with traditional commentaries and sufficient background to study Talmud using the Vilna Shas edition.
Drisha advances a model of serious learning that is engaged, honest, and open.
