Charles Manekin is Professor of Philosophy and currently Director of the Joseph and Rebecca Meyerhoff Center of Jewish Studies at the University of Maryland. He has written books on Gersonides and Maimonides and has edited a collection of articles on general and Jewish perspectives on freedom and moral responsibility.
