The Book of Ecclesiastes challenges us to question the meaning of life. Through the ages, many poets and writers addressed the challenge, adding new perspectives and insights to the question itself. This podcast examines responses to Ecclesiastes in modern literature, while creating new paths for the way we should be studying Tanakh.
Dani Segal has taught in the June Kollel and continuing education program at Drisha. He attended the Hesder Yeshiva, Har Etzion and served in the IDF as a paratrooper. He has a BA in Hebrew Literature from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, rabbinic ordination from the office of the Chief Rabbinate of Israel, and is pursuing an M A in Hebrew Literature from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He is the Community Rabbi of the Yishuv Alon - a heterogeneous Israeli community committed to secular-religious coexistence. He is a founding member of Ein Prat Academy of Leadership, an educational secular-religious program for pre and post army participants, and is the founder and director of Desert Premarital Retreats- specializing in communication in marriage.
